PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
I was born in 1951.
I made my art studies in Budapest at the „Képző- és Iparművészeti Gimnázium” /1966-1970/, later at the „Képzőművészeti Főiskola” /1970-1976/.I made my master’ s between 1974-1976. My masters were Tibor Borbás, Sándor Mikus és József Somogyi.
The Derkovits stipend helpd me to start from 1977-1980.
I have been a member of the of the sculpture and medal section of the MKISZ since 1991; the Sculptors’ Society since 1995 and the member of the Hungarian Creative Artists’ Society since 1976, the Artistic Company of Békéstáj since 1990 and the FIDEM since 2018.
I love the figure plastic art and the grotesque forms as well. I am interested in medals, small statues, portraits and statues on public places.
My statues on public places are manly in the Békés province, but I also made statues for the Csongrád and the Komárom provinces and for Budapest, too.
I made numerous memorial plaques, commemorative plates to order. Many of my small statues ended in public and private collections. I regularly participate in national and foreign group exhibitions and competition.
